Round 2 of the 2024 California Enduro Series race season took place against the majestic backdrop of northern California’s iconic Mount Shasta in McCloud this past weekend, on July 29. Mt Shasta Ski Park delivered a stellar event brimming with challenge and fun.
All race categories from Beginner to Pro tackled five stages ranging from techy primitive tracks to fast and flowy runs. Keeping it upright on Mt Shasta’s signature pulverized volcanic dirt was the name of the game, surfing the mountain’s unpredictable drifty waves.
On top of an incredible day of racing, participants enjoyed camping, post-race festivities, and a return of Shasta’s big air jump comp.
Evan Geankoplis landed the top step of the Pro Men’s podium, while Abby Call (pictured above) took it for Pro Women.
