Less than two weeks after tackling the rowdy slopes at Northstar, California Enduro Series racers headed back into the Sierra Nevada for more big mountain fun — this time for Round 5, the China Peak Enduro, which took place at China Peak Mountain Resort in Lakeshore on Saturday, August 31.
The primitive, granite-infused locale near Huntington Lake set the stage for a unique getaway for racers, many of whom arrived with friends and family in tow. Rigorous riding and a fun camp scene make this event a racer favorite year after year.
Jake Keller reigned as China Peak Enduro Pro Men champ, while Daisy James took the top step for Pro Women.
