Transfers close on Monday 9/28 at midnight, any transfers must be completed by that time.

Instructions for processing a transfer can be found here.
Three Important Requirements from the US Forest Service to allow the race to proceed:
1 – Camping is strictly forbidden anywhere in Mt Ashland or in the national forest!  This includes the Mt Ashland lodge parking area!!

There is camping available at Emigrant Lake for RVs and Creekside campground. Camping is not included with your race entry.

Alternatively there are many hotels in the city of Ashland as well as Yreka just 15 miles south of the race venue.

2 – The climb at the end of the race back to Mt Ashland lodge is MANDATORY – the forest service has mandated that everyone start and finish in the same spot on the mountain – they don’t want folks dispersing into the forest.
3 – The forest behind Mt Ashland is CLOSED – this means there is absolutely no access permitted (driving, biking, or hiking) on the fire road (Road 20) at the back of the Mt Ashland lodge parking lot.

Updated Venue and Course for 2020:

Due to restrictions by the City of Ashland and the US Forest Service in Oregon, the main venue for the race is the parking lot at the Mt Ashland Ski Park, 6 miles south of the city of Ashland.

There will be 4 stages of racing on the east side of the mountain starting from the top of Mt Ashland at the ski park.  With a final transfer back to the top of the mountain – 11miles and around 3000′ of climbing.  This is a mandatory transfer back to the top – the forest service has mandated that everyone start and finish in the same spot on the mountain – with the fires and risks they don’t want folks to get dispersed in the forest.

Transfers are open until Monday Sept 28 at midnight PST.  Instructions for transferring a race entry are here.
